Today I was reminded by Frank Kern, a famous internet marketer of this fact:
Marketing can be boiled down to a very simple strategy consisting of four steps:
ALOF: ATTENTION -> LEAD -> OFFER -> FOLLOW-UP
Get the prospect’s attention. Next, they become a lead by giving you some means to contact them (a phone, an email, etc.). Then, you make them an offer. Finally, you follow-up consistently until they close and buy your product or service.
Sometimes, we overcomplicate this process in our minds. At its core, though, that is all there is to the marketing process.
